Tiny...

Do baby feet really come this tiny? I made some Mary Jane booties for my sister in law Kim who is going to have her first little one in a few months. I have never done booties before. It was nice to make something other than hats and leg warmers. They turned out so cute... and tiny! I hope that they fit her for a while.

The pattern made up really fast and were so fun to make. I see more booties being made in my future.

Twins...

My cute sister in law is expecting twin baby boys any day now! I am so excited for them. I can't wait to see their cute little faces. It was fun to put together a twin package for her. I haven't done a gift for twins before so I decided to do everything similar, but not quite the same. I put together some of my favorite baby things...

I love these little guy ties. This is such a great pattern! They aren't too difficult to make and they don't take too much time. And what couldn't be cuter than a little baby boy in a tie?

This is my favorite baby book ever!!! I wish I had read it before I became a mom, or shortly there after. I didn't read it until my son was almost 5 months old and it totally changed our lives!!! I know I sound dramatic, but it really is so good. I try to give this to all the new moms I can because it was a real life saver for us {well... more of a sanity saver really}.

These are my favorite baby pacifiers. I'm a big believer in pacifiers. Once again, a sanity saver for us as parents. I also made a few binkie clips to go with them from this wonderful tutorial here.

Last but not least, a pair of knit hats. I found the pattern from Ravelry, and they knit up super quick. I love it when I can start and finish a project in one day! These were perfect for that. I just love little cute hats for babies.

365...

It has now been 365 days since I learned...
...what it meant to have my heart broken in a million pieces.
...that not all prayers are answered the way I would like them to be.
...that it's still possible to be happy and have a good life even when things don't go the way you would like them to go.
... that you can lose a baby even if you've made it past the 12 week zone.
... that Heavenly Father's plan is perfect, even if I don't understand it all the time.

White daisies wrapped in brown paper seemed like the right combination to lay on the newly sprouting green grass on his grave.

We sure love and miss you little Clayton.
Love, Mom

For a country girl...

Well, my future daughter in law was born a few weeks ago... Do you want to see how cute she is?

I have already told her parents that she is to be my future daughter in law, but I wont bring it up or talk about it so that our children don't get a complex or anything... we will let their love bloom naturally. But my fingers will be triple crossed for the next 20 years on this one...

She is going to be a country girl. Her dad is a horse breaking, deer hunting, fish catching kind of a guy. Mom is a school teacher who grew up in the country where they still live. So I wanted to make something special for this little country girl...

Cause her head and legs might get cold in the mountains...

Sweet little doe onsie...

Lucky horse shoe with their ranch logo on the side...

Congrats Paul and Michelle! She's beautiful!

Cutest model ever...

I can't even tell you how happy seeing this picture made me today. Isn't this the cutest little guy ever! I didn't ruin the surprise apparently, this baby can use some baby leg warmers up where he lives... at least in a few months! You make cute kids Christina!

Little girl onsies...

I have a friend who is having a little girl soon so I made these onsies for her. This is my second time sewing on onsies and it shows ;)... but I think they turned out pretty cute...

This one is my favorite... a sweet little tree.

I got the idea for this one from Scraps and Whatnot... I had to try out this tulle cupcake. How cute! However... the cupcake is crooked... but I'm not going to fix it... better luck next time cupcake!
