I finished my first set of baby leg warmers this weekend. The only problem was that I had to find a baby to try them on!!! I don't know of any newborns around here... so I had to wait till we saw Trent's sister to try them on her baby.

I think that they turned out pretty cute! I'm going to make little Amelia some that are a bit more
girly.
Cute!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute. I will get you to teach soon. ;D
ReplyDeleteSuper cute!
ReplyDeleteI love it! I tried knitting in the round once and it didn't go so well. But this has given me inspiration to try again!
ReplyDeleteIt's me again. :) A couple questions for you: what size of needles did you use and how many stitches did you cast on? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info about how you knit them! I actually did the same thing with the double point needles the first time I tried them (I only used 3 instead of 4). Definitely doesn't work out quite right. :) I tried it again last night and think I got it now.
ReplyDeleteHave you seen this blog yet? http://a-friend-to-knit-with.blogspot.com/ She is an amazing knitter and has some cool patterns. I love the Toast and Toasty patterns for fingerless mittens/hand warmers. It looks like something you might like, so I thought I'd point you over there if you're looking for more fun knitting projects.
Thanks again for the help! You might hear from me again if I have more questions. :)
LOVE 'EM! if i lived somewhere cold, i'd be begging ... with money.
ReplyDeleteThese are so very adorable!! I have some baby legs for Sandy - not knitted, though - and I love them! They are so cute and make diaper changes a breeze.
