I've never been much of a girly girl. But for some reason I've been so drawn to ruffles lately it's ridiculous! Here are a few ruffles that have caught my eye lately...

I spent most of last night while I was laying in bed trying to figure out how I could make that shower curtain. Out of bed sheets?? That might be the way to go. I almost snagged that skirt at Target the other day but it was just a tad too short... Don't be too surprised if you see some ruffle projects making their appearance here soon.
Funny- I've never been a fan of ruffles but I just put one on the slip cover I made and that shower curtain looks really nice!

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you could make that curtain. I love that skirt! Maybe you could find a way to make that too. Oooor, if you did buy it, there might be a way to add just one more ruffle to the bottom to make it longer. The trick would be finding the right material.
ReplyDeleteOh, or you could add some extra waist band at the top, that way it might not matter if it matches perfectly because your shirt could hide the top most of the time. You could use hooks or snaps to close it so if it has a zipper back it won't matter that the waist band doesn't zip too. Although, if you did do this you might want to try a size bigger just to make sure it fits right when you lengthen it. Just an idea. I think it could actually be cuter that way.
